Banana Spider
Despite her massive size (4-6 in) & color, which just scream “I’m going to kill you!”, she’s harmless. It was kind of a disappointment, actually…lol.
These were taken in Jean Lafitte Park 2 days before Katrina… I got to thinking about them while I was there during Jazzfest. I looked around for banana spiders, but I guess it’ll be a few more months before they’re in their prime.
