And along came Rex. I double checked- the box of slides was marked 1956, but the Krewe of Rex says this was their theme in ’54.

I'm Tess Conrad, Yankee gone native in New Orleans. After dozens visits to research and write about NO's history I figured it'd be cheaper to just move, and in 2002 we did just that.
